HAPPY 25TH ANNIVERSARY, SD!!

today's anniversary theme was Humanitarian Competition: Catalyst of Hope.

usherers of the day!

choir's singing was fab!
Dance's crew's performance totally revitalised me. hehheh.
they made me wanna learn hip-hop again! :(

we are real lucky to have the 3rd batch of SUJ students with us for our meeting!
cause they won't there for the 1st session. hehe. =D
today's meeting was really meaningful, and easy to understand too.
didn't really get a chance to interact with the SUJ students until the dinner session.
omy we spent 2 hours just to travel here and there to find an eating place.
so i was like daaammmnnnn duper hungry by then. =.=
but it was ok though,
since we got to chat with the students.
we even taught them singlish! lol.
winniechan can be a singlish teacher in future. HAHA.

ooooopsy xy. lol.

the few of us were talking alot. like reeeallly alot.
the 3 of the SUJ students were kinda confused by whatever we were talking about.
they were like turning their heads left and right with the 'huh?' expression. hahaha!
plus mx, jim ma li (keke) and the rest who were laughing and losing their images again and again,
there seemed to be non-stop entertainment on the bus when we were on our way to esplanade!
hahah.
but i was like damn lethargic and hungry at that time to even talk. zzz. =.=
we ate many different kinds of food,
and even let the SUJ students tried DURIAN!
mann. their expressions were damn funny sia.
when we asked 'nice?'
they gave the 'urghhh~' look.
but they tried to say nice! no matter what. hahaha!
guess they weren't really used to the taste and smell since they were eating it for the 1st time. :X
we even taught takako to say the word 'busok!' when she smelled winnie's smelly durian breath!
she just kept repeating busok after that. AHAHAHA. XD

really learnt alot from all my encounters with the 3 batches of SUJ students.
their spirit is something we should always look up to.
and the forever-vibrant look they have on their faces is something that totally amazes me man.
they will never look tired despite having to run here and there from places to places.

taltal is shocked by today's attendance for our 1st ever H13 lunch-cum-gathering!

its an amazing figure of 21/22!!

SUGOI DESU NE! *clap clap clap* =D

didn't really had the 'holidays! WOO!' feeling after OB exam until we were at the arcade.
yes,

ALL of us went to tamps mall arcade AS A WHOLE.

and went to eat pizza hut AS A WHOLE.

we freaking scared and attracted attention from everyone in pizza hut.

cause we were whooper noisy. (as expected -.-)

talking like nobody's business,

shouting like nobody's business, (errr in this case im referring to the 1 and only GRACE =.=)

and confuse the waitress like nobody's business!

BUT actually it was everybody's business because almost every customer took turns to turn around and stare at us.

oh shit im so dead. lol.

after eating,

our initial plan of watching movie was cancelled after like.... HALF AN HOUR OF CONSIDERATION?!?

in the end?

only grace's gang bought the tickets. =.=

while considering and pondering for dunno-why-the-hell,

we went into the arcade!

and grace-the-not-graceful decided to play the.... okshit i dunno whats the name of that. lol.

anyway the main point iss,

she just kept losing and losing.

she could only watch helplessly as she's being whacked upsidedowninandout ONE-BY-ONE.

cause she's simply TOOOO LAN.

following hours of slacking in the arcade like people who have nothing better to do but to SLACK,

a few of us decided to proceed to shell shell~'s house at pr! to continue slacking!

bungalow sehh. nice and cosy~ X)

phia phia went home to zzzzz, and the rest proceed home, leaving me, ks, nat, glynnis and lya-the-bullied (LOL) to proceed with our 'plan'!
p.s mitch's room is painted GREENN!!!! =D=D ok random.

we played all kinds of card and board games like Guess What? the Monkey Game, Jenga, Stress and even black magic! lol.

Jenga was the one that lasted the longest.

and the most omg thing was,

after strongly believing that LYA was the one who was bound to LOSE for a total of FIVE bloody breathtaking rounds,
who was the loser in the end?

ME.

arse man.

but the amazing thing is that accctually,

the rest of us were aiming at lya!!! (at least i still got support. teehehe!)

we were sort of 'cursing' lya to topple the whole thing so as to do the forfeit!

and the forfeit was to do the 'H, H, 13!' cheer, which will be VIDEOED and BROADCASTED LIVE ON YOUTUBE.
understand why we want lya to lose now? XP

no words can describe my feelings now.
all of us already started missing them the moment they announced that it was time for them to go.
i can only say how i wish i can just go back with them to japan.
i'll be happy even if i can stay there for just ONE day.
perhaps i was too sad that i was stuck with words.
all i could say was 'bye!' and 'i'll miss you!' over and over again at the airport.

can see that japanese really take gifts seriously.
when winnie gave the cookies that she baked for them,
the eyes of each and everyone of them immediately lighted up and they were like 'EHHHH!'
the way they thank us and show us their gratitude is something that Singaporeans can never do the same.
they were like 'THAANNNKKK YOU!!' and they just kept repeating and repeating.
and all of their faces just brightened up immediately like a bulb!
in fact, they were soooo sincere in expressing their thanks that me and winnie's face went red. haha!
we Singaporeans should really learn from them. =)

omg why didn't i learn jap long time ago.
then i could have communicated with them much MUCCHHH more with them during their short stay.
damn!
all of us have make a vow to master jap so that we can go visit them IF we can go japan next time.
haha.

at the departure hall,
we sang Young Eagles to them.
some of them started tearing.
all of us sang at the top of our lungs, and we made everyone (even the police LOL) stare at us.
cause we knew that this is the only thing we can do to show that we really cant bear to part with them.
can see that none of us and none of them wanted to part with each other.
we just kept saying 'byeee!' for about a thousand times.
megu-san even cried!
me and winnie felt that its not that she's shy.
its just that she doesn't really understand english.
i strongly believe that back in Japan,
she can actually talk even more than woody. hahaha!
i can sense that actually she has a lot a lot of things to say to us.
and i can see that she's really grateful to us.
same goes to woody. =)
all the waving, hugging and saying 'bye' continued alllll the way INTO the departure hall!
we were waving madly and continously at each other!
even the last one who disappeared while boarding the plane sticked out his hand to bade final farewell to us. damn funny hahaha.

for the 1st time, i'm dying to go japan.
but sadly,
we just learnt that the amount of $$ we need (including accomodation, eating, blablabla..) is THREE times more than them having to travel to Singapore and stay for SEVEN days!!
totally absolutely unbelievable!!
so woody and megu, please please come to Singapore again soon if you can! heh.
cause i'm sorry to say that i wouldn't be able to go japan for a long lonnnggg time. =(
give me money! give me time!
and i'll fly there immediately.
hehhehheh. =D
i really don't mind sacrificing my study time because of them.
they have made my valentine's day one of the best i've ever had.
X)

Valentine's Day spent with SUJ- Soka University of Japan!

1st stop: TBSC.
TPSD was in-charge of giving the cue for welcoming! (:
ok, i admit that we did sabo lee juen to give the cue. ahaha.
but in the end, we were forced to do it as a whole. -.-
funny moment was when we bought toast from the auntie,
and we haven eat it when someone shouted 'they're coming!!'
we had to dump our bread with auntie first, who doesn't seem to understand whatever we said.
she only managed to understand when boon hui showed of his canto skills. haha!

after the respective performances and all,
a few of the groups, including us,
decided to bring them to lau pa sat for dinner! yum yum.
bought all kinds of food, just to let them try all.
its just like the wu zhong xian show. haha.
we didn't managed to finish all though. there were too much. :X
woody was saying 'ippai desu!' (i'm full!).
man. jap had really came of great use yesterday. haha.
just realised that all of us EXCEPT nette didn't learn jap!
tooo baddd. kekeke. =P
topics such as how their lives were like in SUJ were discussed.
they were so interesting that the few of us girls are beginning to have the thought of going SUJ!
and you know what?
most of them only sleep around 5 hours a day!
omy! and they still look as vibrant as ever!
really admire them. *clap clap*
no matter how tiring it is for them,
they will never have a single complaint.
because they knew that they were real lucky to be able to get into SUJ. =)

anyway overall, im so glad i have the opportunity to be one of the SUJ guides. it has been a wonderful experience for me. =)
SUJ students are one bunch of reaaalllyy nice and friendly people. and they're adorable too. =D
all of us already started missing them when it came to the moment when we had to part.
Some of the SUJ people even cried!
one of them, called Sunny, even shouted "im very very happy today!!"
pity i couldn't take pic with the funny guys, tara the fish and icchi the itchy. :(
can see that all of them had really enjoyed themselves,
and really showed a great sense of gratitude to us.
i'll also like to thank them for making my valentine's day so memorable. :D

the hell period of projects, presentations and role-plays are officially OVER.
cant believe its over man.
now i can finally, FINALLY concentrate on studying.
i always break my own promise that 'ok, i'm gonna study now. i'm gonna revise now.'
I SHALL STOP BREAKING IT RIGHT NOW. =)

performed much better than i expected for my role-play interview. =)
(but why David got the 'job'?? why not me??? why why??? lol.)
though the worst part was i trembled when i was talking.
mannn. nothing to nervous about la please.
why do i get tensed up so easily?
zzzz. -.-
common questions like 'tell me about yourself', 'where do you see yourself in 10 years time?' were asked.
it was more like a chit-chat session for me.
we're rather lucky to have Ms Teo as our commsk teacher.
she's damn zai man. seriously. X)
she's so friendly and approachable also.
i find no problem talking to her during the interview. =)
everyone in our class like her so much that we have invited her to our class gathering! (which are not organised YET. :x)

mon was a WTH day man.
went all the way to school,
but in the end i just had a 5-min lesson. then we're released.
like so :o can.
all we had to do was just to see our grades for our project and test.
omytian.
and i swear sophia almost killed me man.
cause i did not call her to tell her that actually its just a 5-min thing.
so she was damn pissed off when she realised it.
HAHAHAHA.
'i travelled for 1h plus, then in the end stayed for 5min only???'
soo, in order to make up for our 'loss' (its just bullshit :X),
we went to tm for short walk walk.

SSM's briefing was kinda scary at first.
Mr Goh was as what the seniors said, strict and fierce.
but thinking back,
that's what make people respect him.
that's how a good lecturer should be like.
that's how we learn and prepare ourselves for the tough future ahead.
he's right, some lecturers are too 'soft' on us.
phrases like 'i'll hunt you down like a dog...'
'i'll break you....'
'i'll become your nightmare..'
'i'll be IN your face...' totally made us have the 'woaahh.' face.
but the moment he mentioned that our grooming standards are in fact, better than that of SIA,
i had a sudden change in attitude towards him.
our seniors have even done us proud by winning prestigious awards when competing with chefs worldwide!
even though they are from CCM, but still!
impressive.
ok from now onwards,
we shall all learn to greet every single lecturer or tutor that we see in school kae.
even if we don't know their names, at least greet 'Good afternoon sir.'
this shall be a habit to us. =D
and i shall imprint Mr Goh's 2 golden words into my head,
HONESTY and PUNCTUALITY.
i sort of wish Mr Goh to be my tutor.
ok i know i sound insane. LOL.
i'm so gonna pray damn hard that i won't be late for ANY ssm session.
i don't want to have Mr Goh in my face.
that'll be terrible. :X
even though my upcoming holidays is gonna be even more packed because of this (i'm gonna learn proper make-up and grooming!)
i'm kinda looking forward to it.
i'll make myself love ssm. =D
i'll definitely not bear to leave this place at the end of it.
i got a very strong feeling that after surviving ssm,
there's nothing pretty much for me, or rather for US, to afraid in the real working industry. =)
now i know why i wanted to study HTM in the first place.
i think i've made the right choice. =)

singing sessions are unavoidable for my holidays.
i'm gonna have bbq and chalets bonanza again. haha!
i'm gonna try out an islander life within one day. can i?
thinking of all this just twitches me up. :)
listening to earthly nice songs have definitely make my learning process easier and enjoyable. =D

bcs test is finally over.

like finally.

its such a 'boy' subject man. haha.

just praying hard that i'll pass. :S

please don't let phia's effort go to waste!

after next tue, i can finally sit down and really study.

no joke le. must get down to work. :)

funny classmate in socio really never fails to light us up man. NEVER.

with his funny speaking tone and like-DUH questions asked during presentation.

eg. "excuse me? (LOL) so.... that Derek is a Black huh? (everyone fainted, including teacher)"

lol. still got alot of classics one la. hahaha.

i've never seen our teacher laugh to SUCH an extent. really never.

he LOLed until he put his head down, with his face totally red.

hahahaha.

questions were generally well-answered by our group.

really REALLY pray that i can get As for both cds!

jap role play was a success too.

damn glad that even though Zaw always never come for meetings,

he still managed to memorise his script and scrape through.

his pronunciation was not bad on the actual day. phew! =)

and damn glad that i remembered all my lines!! =D

all of us did well. honestly.

we were even better than during our rehearsals! :D

teacher said she enjoyed watching every group!

like so happy cannnn~

The Star has arrived!

fantasstic.

eh lohloh. happy not. XD

sat @ yi ma's house was fantastic!
i've never gambled so much in my entire life. LOL.
played 'in-between' with biao ge and all.
we played from 40 cents to $40 PLUS!!
mmyyyygod!!
its amazing to see how fast the $$ was piling up in the centre! O.O
i think its because yi ma's house de fengshui not veli the good ar.
we played in biao ge's room, EVERYONE keep losing.
then we moved to living room, EVERYONE STILLL keep losing.
i'm not lying.
i'm like the most unlucky one la.
ok actually i didn't lose much,
in fact i managed to win some $$ in the end! X)
BUT, i keep losing the chance to play.
cause i either get the same card, or its 2 CONSECUTIVE numbers!!!
omy zzzzz. lol.
even my cousins cant believe it. hahaha.
citadels was DAAMMMNNN FUN!
im in love with the game now. =D
im gonna play it again during the holidays! heheh.
in the end i only reached home at 4 plus in the morning.

sun was equally fun@ winnie's!
even though i overslept. hehe.(of course la. 5am then sleep leh! :X)
played blackjack & many rounds of mahjong.
so pressurizing to play with mj experts! :S
but im glad im beginning to know how to play.

everyone including her relatives, are ALL gambling!
